Hey, hey. So happy you're here. Welcome back to Marketing Therapy.
Today's a special kind of episode here. I'm gonna be pulling back the curtain on everything you need to know about our reopening of Confident copy that starts next week. So this is meant to be a real time episode that you listen to and I've put it together because I've heard from many of you who have lots of questions about Confident Copy are considering whether or not this is the right next step for you.
And the purpose of this episode is to help you decide if it is or if it isn't. By the end of this episode, my goal is that you know exactly what Confident Copy is, a little bit more about why I created it, who it's designed for, and also who it's not designed for, because it is the right fit for some therapists, just like you're the right fit for some clients.
The results you can expect when you go through it. How it's structured to ultimately help you get there. And then how and when You can join us this round. Now, if you're new to our community, I reopen confident copy usually twice per year at a reduced price and with some really great extra bonuses.
So our next one is coming up next week here in August. And my goal is that when doors open, you're ready to make an informed decision. Whatever that decision is, either it's a clear yes or a clear, not right now, that's a win for me, is just getting off that fence. And I know I've heard from many of you that maybe you're sitting there, so that's my hope here.
Now we are kicking off our special promotion with a live workshop called Clear Website Full caseload. That's on August 19th. So when I launched Confident Copy back in 2021, we were in those early post pandemic times and we were really seeing the landscape shift even then.
Clinicians were realizing they needed a niche. The standard was raising a bit for marketing overall, but there really weren't many resources showing them how to translate that into a website that truly felt like them. Something distinct from the cookie cutter sites. I know, you know, the ones that large providers were spinning out almost on a weekly basis that looked and sounded the same, and the same and the same.
Now, fast forward to today, four years later. And we all know that the market is even more competitive now. Clients are shopping around more. They expect specificity and polish in every area of their lives, including therapy. Okay? Their standards have gone up in every single area. Networking is still one of the most effective ways to get clients, but we also see that networking only works if you know how to clearly talk about what you do and who you serve and why it matters.
And that's really where I see Confident Copy come in. It's our copywriting program, hence the name, right? Confident Copy, but it's also a niching program. A messaging program. A marketing program. A way to finally feel confident putting your work into words, whether those words are on your website, which is our primary focus, your Psychology Today profile, a conversation at a networking event.
Your words matter, and that's what Confident Copy equips clinicians with. So if I had to boil all that down into one sentence, confident Copy really helps you put words to the work you do and create marketing that matches the quality of your work with clients so you can book more of them. That's the mission and the vision behind Confident Copy.
When I picture the absolute perfect fit, confident copy student. The students of ours who have gotten the most fantastic results and had the best experience in our program and have gone on to grow their practices and raise their fees and do all the things, there's a certain energy they bring to the program, and I usually know the first time I meet them on a coaching call, they are hungry for growth.
They have a level of grit and tenacity when it comes to how they are looking at their marketing. They realize that they need to be willing to get a little bit uncomfortable. If it means building the practice they want, they believe in themselves and they really see confident copy, or quite frankly, any investment they make in their practice, not as a thing that's going to save them, right?
Not as a magic bullet, but as a really powerful lever. They can pull something they can add to their toolbox and draw on throughout the life of their practice. So they show up and they take advantage of support. That's one of the best things about Confident Copy is the community that you get to do this with.
They ask questions, and even if they're more of an observer, not every single person needs to be raising their hand on every coaching call, but they're engaging in a way that works for them. They're staying in touch, not just with the process, but with the people and the support available to them. They also really understand that marketing matters.
This isn't just a necessary evil. It's something that they know they're gonna have to invest in over the life of their career, but they know that in order to do that, they need to have that strong foundation that we create in Confident Copy. So they value their work and they also value having marketing that reflects that work.
Some of them are established and want more of the clients they love working with, while others are brand new to private practice. Now on the flip side, confident copy, like I said, isn't the right fit for everyone. Just like you're not the right therapist for everyone. A couple signs that it might not be right for you. One, your website is already consistently converting high quality RightFit clients and you just need more of them.
If that's you, congratulations. You're doing something right. C copy likely isn't the needle mover for you. You need to be looking more into growing traffic, so if right now you do hear from people that are reading your website and know you're the therapist for them that are ready to get started at your full fee, all of those things, and you just need more, then like I said, that's a traffic problem.
Not as much a copy or marketing problem. Fundamentally, if you're looking for that magic switch for your marketing, something you flip on without committing to the ongoing effort, you're probably gonna be disappointed by the process that we teach in Confident Copy, because Confident Copy is designed to be the long-term strategy that your practice grows on.
It's not a magic bullet, unfortunately. I don't know of a magic bullet out there right now, but if that is your want. You won't like it around here very much. Now, a final thing I wanna share, this episode isn't designed to sell you on Confident Copy. This episode is designed to help you make a decision about whether or not it's right for you.
If enrolling in Confident Copy would put you under significant financial strain or add undue stress to your life, I don't want you to join right now. Please hear me on that. If it's gonna create more worry than opportunity or put that undue stress on you, it's better to wait until the timing is right.
We'll do this again. While this is gonna be a really fantastic round, please know that if it comes down to financial health or strain, I always want you to err on the side of caution there. But if you're realizing that you're ready for clarity, for confidence, and for that skillset, that tool in your toolbox that you can use for the rest of your career, confident Copy was designed for you.
When I think about the ultimate outcome I want for our confident Copy students, it's really simple. I want them to walk away from this program with a deep understanding of the work they do best. The words to describe it in a way that actually lands with their dream clients and the confidence to put that out into the world knowing it will bring in the right clients.
That's my hope. By the time folks finish Confident copy, they walk away with a clear and compelling niche that sets them apart and makes it easy for people to remember and refer to you. Strong, strategic, authentic website copy for your homepage about page specialty pages, things that you're excited to send traffic to, things that you read and you say, that feels so much like me, and that your clients read and say, it feels like you're talking to me.
That's what we aim to create. We also hope that you're walking away with a high converting site today profile, something that's gonna jump off the page for the ideal client. That you love to work with. Now, is Psych today gonna fill your practice on its own these days? Nope. It absolutely is not. However, if you can get a handful of RightFit clients per year, it was a very worthwhile marketing strategy when we can essentially, almost set it and forget it.
Very, very worthwhile when we look at the data these days. I also hope that you leave confident copy with a plan of what to do next in your marketing. So you're never left wondering, what do I do now? And that's one reason I'm really excited about this particular reopening because we have completely revamped the final module of our program where I am helping you in a level of detail I never have before.
Decide on the marketing strategies that are going to make sense for you after you leave the program. That might be Google Ads, that could be SEO, that could be social media. We're gonna show you step by step, tier by tier what strategies actually make sense so that, again, you're not left wondering what do I do now?
But you have a good sense of what next steps make sense for you and for your clients. But maybe most importantly, my hope is that you leave confident, copy confident, hence the name, talking about your work in consults in networking conversations anywhere your ideal clients might find you. We've heard incredible wins from students over the years, but even recently, because I have heard from people, well, if this result from a student hasn't come in the last year, I don't consider it valid.
I actually heard from a clinician who said that, and I hear them on that because the market really has changed. Even some recent wins from students include things like filling their full fee caseload in as little as six months after graduating, they graduated. I launched that website, got out there, started marketing and had a full practice six months later.
One just this summer, who booked six full fee clients, even in the quote unquote summer slump after launching their site. Better consult conversions. So clients saying things like, I already know you're the therapist for me, right there on the consult. More referrals and just stronger networking connections overall because people finally know how to describe what you do. They know who your right fit client is and how and when and who to send your way. And interestingly, I've also heard from a couple of students in just the last month or so, that they're using the CC framework even beyond therapy, coaching courses, intensives, all kinds of offers.
They come back to the vault, which has been really cool to hear from some of our alumni. And we just continue to see that when your marketing starts to feel like a natural extension of your work, not just a dreaded chore, that it really can change everything. And that's what we're here to ultimately help make happen.
So confident Copy really is designed to take you for, from. I don't know how to put this into words. I don't know how to say that. I don't know how to talk about this. Two, I can confidently send people to my website knowing it's going to connect and convert with them, and we do that through a step-by-step framework that I've refined over the years and continue to refine.

This also, of course, is going to set you up with the right keywords on your site to work harder for you on Google overall, and we give you some excellent guidance as it relates to SEO as well. Then we get into the bulk of the program where you do the writing. So homepage that comes first. Your homepage is your first impression.
It's also the launching pad into your website, and so I'm gonna walk you through my formula here for making sure that clients land on your website, immediately feel seen, even if you like having variety in your caseload and are intrigued to learn more. That's the goal of that homepage. Then we head into the about page that connects.
The about page is where you build trust and show potential clients that you deeply understand them. So we structure it so it's about them as much as it's about you, which is a tough balance to strike sometimes, because that's ultimately what's gonna get them to reach out. Then we round out the website copywriting with specialty pages.
So we're gonna create individual pages that really position you as the go-to expert in your focus areas. You can use this framework again and again for any service you offer now or in the future. Maybe you get trained in a new modality, come grab a new method page. Maybe you add on intensives. Come grab our intensive page.
We even have a supervision page if that's something you're interested in adding, so we have a unique formula for all the different specialties your site can have. Then success on psych today, like I mentioned, still a very worthwhile strategy from our perspective when we look at the data of what's working across our industry.
And this really can be one of your most valuable marketing tools, especially 'cause it is relatively set it and forget it when done right. So we're gonna help you write your profile, your video script, your video caption, your intro to do client statement in a way that really stands out and then gets people over to your website, is the ultimate goal there.
And then finally, as I mentioned, we've revamped the final module of Confident Copy mapping your marketing. So here we're breaking down the most popular marketing strategies for therapists into both tier one and tier two options. What's gonna take the most time, money, energy.
